Printing puts a name on a chair. Embroidery puts it in the chair — thousands of stitches of real thread, pulled through the canvas by machines we run ourselves, in-house, the way we’ve done it for 26 years.
This page is the embroidered version of everything: directors chairs in all three heights, plus embroidered replacement canvases for the chairs you already own.
Why embroidery
- It outlasts the canvas. Thread doesn’t peel, crack, or wash out. When a canvas finally wears through, the usual request is a new canvas with the same stitching — not a repair.
- It reads as premium because it is. A stitched name has texture and shadow that no print can fake. On a set or across a boardroom, the difference is visible from across the room.
- It’s ours end to end. The embroidery happens in our North Carolina shop — we pick the thread, run the stitch, and check the tension on every panel before it ships.
What we stitch
Names, titles, monograms, and logos. Two lines inside the back panel, two lines outside, in your choice of fonts and thread colors — the configurator previews every combination. Bold, solid logos embroider beautifully; if your artwork is too fine for thread, we’ll say so and quote it as a print instead.

How long does embroidery take?
In-stock chairs and canvases with embroidery ship within 2–3 business days.
What’s the difference between this and the printed version?
Printing is ink on canvas — better for fine detail and large artwork. Embroidery is stitched thread — more durable and more formal. Same chairs, same configurator; you pick the method.
Can you embroider a logo?
Bold, solid marks, yes — send the artwork through the quote form and we’ll confirm it stitches cleanly and quote it within 2 business days.
Can you match embroidery from a chair I bought years ago?
Usually — every design we’ve stitched is on file with a design ID. Contact us with your name or order details and we’ll match the font, thread, and layout.
